With our wedding rapidly approaching, I thought I would take on the task of producing the wedding invites; a case of pre-wedding delirium perhaps.

The theme of the wedding was English country garden and the stationery needed to set the tone for the whole day. My wife and I collaborated on the overall look and feel and we commissioned an illustrator for the border illustration.

The ‘save the date’ and reception invites were hand silkscreened in two colours, the ceremony invite in three. The Order of Service was cut and assembled by hand (yes, it did take a while). Other items included RSVP cards, menus, seating plans, place names and thank you cards.
