Club identity

After several years of drunken dreaming, a group of friends and I finally got together and started our own club night; all it needed now was a name and identity.

The name was a play on the now-defunct London club night ‘Trash’, as our night took place in a converted Victorian public toilet.

There were very few nights playing the same sort of music at the time, so this needed to be our main push. The band names and information were separated with a forward slash; an apt choice for a graphic hook. This bold, minimal typographic treatment, along with a simple colour palette, was used to help us stand out in a sea of over-designed flyers.

As well as flyers, the identity was used across posters, banners, badges and a website of photographs from each night.
